Dr. Eti Yoles, Ph.D.

Dr. Yoles hold a B.Sc. in biology, M.Sc. in physiology, Ph.D. in neurobiology from Bar Ilan University, and post-doctoral fellowship with Prof. Michal Schwartz at the Weizmann institute of Science.

 

Prof. Yoles have more than 20 years of high-level experience in managing research and biotechnology development, specifically in the field of neuroimmunology. Currently she is  managing the operations at ImmunoBrain Checkpoint (IBC), a biotechnology company that develops immunotherapies for neurodegenerative disorders.

 

Prior to joining ImmunoBrain Checkpoint, she served as CSO of Immunobrain Therapies, managing the development of autologous cell-based therapy for acute spinal cord injury and stroke. Prior to that, she was managing director at NeuroQuest, which was exploring for cellular biomarkers in the blood for ALS and AD disease diagnosis and prognosis.  At Proneuron Biotechnologies, as VP of Product R&D, she was in charge of characterization and development of the unique cellular product for treating acute spinal cord injury through phase I and phase II clinical studies. Beside her experience as a manager in biotechnology industry, she has 8 years of academic experience as an assistant staff scientist at the Department of Neurobiology, Weizmann Institute of Science, investigating the physiological aspects of post-traumatic neuronal survival and regeneration and the role of the immune system in evolving and progression of neurodegenerative diseases.
