Dr. Vaknin-Dembinsky, Ph.D.

Dr. Vaknin-Dembinsky is a senior neurologist and neuro-immunologist, serving as the Director of the Laboratory of Neuro-immunology and overseeing the Day Clinic for Neuroimmunological Disease Treatment at the Department of Neurology, Hadassah Medical Center. She holds an MD and PhD from Hebrew University and pursued Post-Doctoral studies at the Center of Neurological Diseases, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Institutes of Medicine, Boston, MA, mentored by Prof. Howard Weiner.  Dr. Vaknin-Dembinsky is currently an Associate Professor of Neurology in the Hebrew University. Her expertise lies in antibody-mediated autoimmune diseases, with a primary focus on Myasthenia Gravis (MG) and Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) as well as in Multiple sclerosis. Dr. Vaknin-Dembinsky's integrates basic research with diagnostic neurology within the realm of neuro-immunology. She is a local Principal Investigator (PI) on numerous clinical trials and has authored over 80 papers in peer-reviewed journals.
