Prof. Uri Nevo

Prof. Uri Nevo completed all of his degrees in physics, and served as a postdoctoral Fulbright fellow at the NIH in Bethesda, MD.

 

Since 2009, Prof. Nevo has been an esteemed faculty member in Tel Aviv University’s Department of Biomedical Engineering. Additionally, he contributes his knowledge and inights to the Sagol School of Neuroscience.  

 

Prof. Nevo’s primary research focus lies in the development of innovative methods associated with portable MRI systems and the study of biophysical aspects of complex systems, with particular emphasis on the immune system and the nervous system.  

 

He co-founded the President Peres' program, which is now known as the Odyssey program, dedicated to nurturing Israel's future scientists and inventors. Moreover, he has served as the Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering and co-founded the Lifegraph and Agile MRI companies.
