Prof. Paz is the Director of the technologies and digital health at Clalit Health Services. In his role Dr. Paz is responsible for the strategic long term planning of Clalits' technological advancement. Dr. Paz oversees and coordinates the investment in and the incorporation of new technologies.

Previously, Dr. Paz was the assistant director and the chief of rheumatology at Galilee Medical center. Prior to that Dr. paz serve as a physician scientist at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, Boston MA. 

Dr. Paz received his medical and master of science degrees from the Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School, his master of public health degree from the Harvard School of Public Health and master of business administration from Tel- Aviv University.
